I'm having issues with my Wifi. My 2.4 Ghz network works fine but my 5 ghz network doesn't work at all. I go to connect to the 5 ghz network entering in security information as usual. Then during the step where I enter in the security information I get a notice saying "some information changed since the last time you connected. We need additional information to complete the connection". Any idea what that means? I then get an error saying "can't connect to network" This only happens on my 5 ghz network. Any idea how to fix?

That happens when the saved information for your connection is different from what the router is set to.

Not only is the SSID and password saved but also what its encryption method is, whether it is ac only or ac/a/n, as well as some other factors.
So if any of that has changed then it will not work.

You need to tell your computer to "forget the network" and then re input the password for it.
You can find tutorials for whatever OS you are using on how to forget a network.

Why are you "screwed", are they not going to be back in a few hours?

If you know the login password to the router then just connect via ethernet and lookup what the wifi password is. If your parents intentionally have you locked out of the router then we cant help you.
