So I was messing around trying to install 2 operating system on my computer (windows and Mac) and I had to keep turning my computer on and off. Then last time I turned it off it wouldn't turn on again. This has happened to me before where I thought I fried something or a pin was not seated properly but made sure it wasn't either of the twowith the good old paper clip method on jumpstarting the psu. I'm pretty sure my power supply has this surge protection thing where if it detects a "surge" it won't turn on again. I know this because last time this happened I brought it into a tech repair shop and he told me about it. My question is how do I fix it

Pc specs

Evga supernova 750 g2 psu
I7 4790k
Gtx 1070
16 gb of ram
250gb ssd
1tb hdd

Solution
If you test it with a known good PSU, power on the computer and none of the fans power on and the computer doesnt power on, you may need to replace the motherboard.

If you know how to use a multimeter, you can test your existing PSU first.
