I have a stock HP H8-1214 and the original graphics card died. Being it's so old, I'm not looking to spend a bunch of money on it, and I'm not sure what new cards will play nicely with it. Trying to keep it around $50-100. What would be the best choices for a decent replacement graphics card where I wouldn't have to upgrade anything like the power supply. Mostly concerned with having a dependable rig that can run the occasional game, WOT, Skyrim, etc at anything above the lowest settings (if possible, not expecting miracles at this price point). Dual Monitor functionality would be nice, but not a requirement.

If it's the case where most, if not all current cards with low power consumption (<25w)are viable replacements, then that sort of answers the question, since my main concern is that the new card is basically plug and play vs running into a series of issues that require constant fiddling. My car unfortunately fills that niche all too well.

AMD FX-6100 6 core
10 gb DDR3 ram
300 watt power supply

Absence of issues is never guaranteed when it comes to PCs. You will want to uninstall your current display driver using Display Driver Uninstaller http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

And after you decide which GPU to buy you download the latest driver form either AMD or Nvidia's website and install the driver after you install the hardware.

For low cost low power like you want:

RX 550
or
GT 1030

or if you can find them cheap enough RX 460/560 and GTX 1050 but be sure they don't require a PCIe power connector.

Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. I'll look for those cards and see which one fits the bill.
