So im ordering the msi b350 pro carbon and a corsair vengeance 16gb rgb for my new ryzen build but i wanted to double check.
Is this a good mobo to begin with ?
And is it combatible with corsair vengeance rgb ram ?
I couldnt find the qvl foe this ram, so...

Solution
No issue running the pro carbon & vengeance rgb , without tinkering manually you'll probably be running at 2666 cas 14 though .

Don't think the rgb is worth it personally , you can get lpx standard for $30 less & that $30 will buy you 3 or 4 5050 rgb lighting strips.

The x370 version of that board is only about 30 more and comes with loads more features, obviously being the cheaper b350 version, they cut things from it to make it cheaper, rgb control for instance is one of them, solid colours, no effects, less m2 slots etc.

As for the ram, get something off the qvl to be sure of compatability.

If it's rgb ram you are looking for, G. Skill trident Z works fine, I'm using it and it's worked since day one.

Doesn't have e any issues running at all, I've used it on every am4 system I've built to date, the problem with the spd is caused by the G. Skill software to control the leds, it's still beta, if you live with the rainbow effect out of the box, it's flawless, and just hang on until g. Skill sort the software control out.
