Hi guys, my computer started lagging when playing league of legends and streaming. It never did this before until I updated my computer. My build is as follows:

Intel i7 5930k
SLI 2 980TI's
32GB of RAM
I do run two monitors one of which is 4k and it isn't the monitor i play league on.

I used to have a 4930k and a r9 290 and 16GB of RAM. I used to get 200-300 frames while streaming. Now when I am in teamfights It dips down to 60 FPS and the frames skip and feels like 10 FPS even though it says I am getting 60 FPS. Im not crazy knowledgeable about this stuff but I have been building computers for years for myself and friends and haven't run into this before. Anything you guys can offer I really appreciate it!

It sounds like you have a micro stuttering issue, try doing a clean install of your drivers, disable sli for league. Also download msi afterburner and monitor your various temperatures and usage, if your ram usage is all over the place, you might have a faulty dimm, remove all dims and boot into with a single dim, cycle them on your dim slots, repeat this for all dimms untill you found a faulty one.

Also since your playing online, open task manager and check your network usage, maybe some program is flatlining in the back ground and that causes poor online performance.

Last option is IF the game is stored on a hard drive, you might have a case of drive fragmentation, just google "how to defrag a hard drive" there is a simple program...
