I am planning on getting both, however I am wondering which I should use for my main rig. Currently, I am running an AMD 6300 6-Core Processor in my main computer. I am getting an incredible deal on an Ryzen 5 1600x for $150. I am trying to build 2 computers. I am planning on having one in Texas, with my mom and my main beast pc (new one) with my dad in Wisconsin. I am looking for a CPU that can help handle games, and can stream with no lag on top of the tear games. Please let me know which CPU I should put in my new rig and why. Also, a quick note I would like to add is that I am going to be putting liquid cooling in my new PC so therefore, the Wraith spire from the 1700 if I put the 1700 in my main pc, the wraith spire cpu cooler will be going to my secondary PC that will be in texas, with the Ryzen 5 1600x.

If you are getting both then but the 1700 in your main rig and overclock it, it will reach similar speeds as the 1600x. That way you have the same single core performance for games but you have 2 more threads for streaming and whatever else you might do.
