Recovery word file

Yesterday i was reinstalling windows and formated disk C on which was word file that i used to use for half and year, there is any chance to recover it? That file was on desktop

What u mean reformat? I just formated disc c to completely empty and installed a new windows in the same drive and now i realize that i didnt move that important file to disk D, so im thinking about chances to recover it

There is any free recovery software? Easeus is found that word file its corrupted but i think that can be fixed, still i need to buy easeus to recover maybe any suggestions?
