The unallocated space must be right next to the partition you want to merge it with.

I'm guessing you had something like this:
Code:
[C: ][D: ]
and you now have this:
Code:
[C: ][D: ][Unallocated ]
You need to use a partition manager tool to move the D drive so that you get this:
Code:
[C: ][Unallocated ][D: ]
Then you should be able to extend the C: partition into the unallocated space, either using Minitool Partition Wizard or with Windows' built-in Disk Management app.
Looking online, it looks like Minitool should be able to do this (Disk Management can't). It'll take a long time, depending on how big the D: drive is, and you should back up anything important from the D: drive first, in case the power fails or your computer crashes while it's being done.

1. You must, repeat MUST, submit a screenshot of Disk Management with your next post to this forum, capiche?

2. If you don't know how to prepare & submit a screenshot do a Google search for instructions.

3. Make sure your screenshot includes the ENTIRE WINDOW of Disk Management including the upper portion that shows the size of the partitions AND the volume of data in your partitions, capiche?
