Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Odds are likely that the only viable recovery will be from your backups if there are any.
Pc's don't store files as files. They store them in pieces and if one piece is lost or corrupted then the whole file is too, unfortunately.
When you installed the OS and anything else then you may have overwritten one of these pieces.
This is just one of many reasons why important files should always have backup copies stored on another device that isn't normally connected to the pc when not in use.
