Hi,

I just built a new pc, all is good and working apart from my mouse (razer deathadder 2013). The computer doesnt recognise that it is plugged in at all, its not the usb port problem because I have plugged in other stuff and it works.

Its also not the mouse because it works on other computers without problems.

I have synapse 2.0 installed and it finds my keyboard just fine.

Im currently using a temp wireless mouse, but I would like to get the other mouse working on the new computer.

Thanks.

Hey,
Have you got the drivers installed? if not that might be the problem
But if the mouse is old it might have just died, if you still have that old PC check it works on there.

I tried looking for the drivers on the razer website, but I havent been able to find standalone ones, only ones that come with synapse...

The mouse works on other computers fine, but they have synapse. Ive ordered a new mouse and ill update to see if maybe the mouse is just dead/in need of an upgrade.

Ordering a new mouse might be pointless if it works on other devices. This is probably due to hardware or software, is it even showing up?
Is the temporary mouse plugged in whilst trying to use the Deathadder?

Ive tried connecting the razer mouse to my pc when the temp mouse isnt connected, it doesnt make the indication noise when you plug the usb into a computer, so its not being detected. However, when I look at the device manager, my blackwidow keyboard chroma comes up under the keyboard AND the mouse section. Ive tried disabling the mouse version and my keyboard still works.

Maybe this is causing the problem?

I believe the blackwidow comes with 2 USB's, if there both plugged in unplug the usb that isn't needed. This might be the cause. However I have that keyboard and it isn't a problem for me.

I only have 1 usb plugged in, the essential one. Ill just wait for a new mouse and update if i am able to find a fix.
