Hello everyone,
I am planning to build new pc which will be mainly used for gaming and editing.
Which CPU would you recommend me R7 1700 or i7 7700k.And if i7 7700k , can you recommend me some good MBD ?
This is the part list:
PSU:GIGABYTE G750H 750W
SSD:SAMSUNG 250GB 850 EVO SATA3 2.5" MZ-75E250B/EU
HDD:WD Blue 1TB 7200rpm 64MB SATA3 WD10EZEX
RAM:G.SKILL 16GB Ripjaws V DDR4 3000MHz CL15 KIT F4-3000C15D-16GVGB
CPU:AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3.00GHz AM4 BOX
MBD:MSI B350 TOMAHAWK
GPU:MSI GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X PCIE

Solution
Either will work well for gaming and editing, the Ryzen 7 1700 will work better for editing and streaming while gaming, and the 7700K will work better for just gaming. I'd say go for the Ryzen 7 because the next batch of mainstream Intel CPUs will be 6-core Core i5 and i7 later this year (unofficial) because quad-cores are falling behind to 6 and 8 core Ryzen in editing and streaming while gaming.

What exactly are you editing and what software are you editing with? If you're using Adobe Premiere or Photoshop then you'll benefit more from a CPU with multiple cores and a fast clock speed. A lesser CPU will still do the job, it'll just do it slower.

The Ryzen 5 1600 is arguably the best price-to-performance CPU for gaming right now.
