Howdy, last night i was playing a few games and my framerates were dropping dramatically, i didnt think nothing of it, maybe a driver issue i thought. But a maybe 20 mins later my pc shuts down and theres a little smoke coming from the graphics card, now it wont turn on. The motherboard lights kick on in its standby mode but it doesnt power on completely.

Alright, so i removed the card and i couldnt see no damage on the motherboards slots, i removed the card and hooked it back up and it started up like normal. Now my next question, what do i do about the card?

if its still under warranty then call the manufacturer. if not, then you will need to buy a new GPU.

Now, I have a serious question. What brand, model, and wattage is your power supply? (i.e. Corsair TX750 750W or EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G2 550W) Reason why I ask is I wish to rule out the PSU as a potential cause of the failure. (it won't be 100%, as any PSU can develop issues, but super-cheap PSUs tend to do this far more often.)
