Hello guys,

I've been having some problem with the new SSD i'm trying to install.

Storage - 1 TB 7200rpm HDD
- 120 GB SSD

I was using 1 TB HDD, as the only hard drive previously, and recently bought a 120 GB SSD.

So, after installing the new SSD, it worked well, with both HDD and SSD being working correctly, but then i just reset the BIOS, with - "Load Optimized Settings", and after that the next boot was Stuck at the POST splash screen.

I realized it could be related to the new SSD, so i reset the BIOS using reset pin on board and only connected the SSD, and removed the HDD.

And the Computer Booted fine.

Then in the next boot i connected the HDD too, and again it was stuck at the POST splash screen.

again i reset the BIOS Physically. and just connected the HDD, it booted with only the HDD being connected.

again i tried connecting the SSD while HDD was connected, it got stuck at the POST screen.

That is it only works when only one of the Drive is connected, and if i connect both together, it stucks at the boot, and requires a BIOS reset.

is there a way to fix this?

thanks

Both the Drives are GPT, and I did configure it, according to the boot priority, but still fails to boot the next time...
And after failing it doesn't solve just by removing one of the disk, but also requires the BIOS to be reset...

not sure if there's some other configuration required..

Quite weird thing, but only setting the HDD as the first priority in the Hard drive BBS priority allows properly booting when both the drives are connected, even though both SSD and HDD have OS installed.

Here Boot priority option is different, than the Hard Drive BBS priority.
