A little while ago i bought a Dell Optiplex 7010 , without The standard Power Supply. I switched the i5 3570 for a i5 2500k because with the i5 3570 I could not get a signal. With the i5 2500k the system works but performs really bad, a lot of stutter. I also think the chipset is running really hot. I have a scythe mugen 2 installed so the cpu temps are idle around 35.

I do not know why i get so much stutter and bad performance... could it be the motherboard?

Today i installed a i5 3470T but i did not get a signal, i really do not understand what the problem is.

I have 8 gb ram installed, 250gb kingston ssd and a 430 watt be quiet power supply.

Really hope someone can help me!
Thanks in advance

Solution
With CPU which works - update the BIOS to the latest provided by Dell (go to support.dell.com, enter your PC' service tag, download and install BIOS).
Only after that you can start playing with different CPUs.

Thanks i will try, but still strange. The optiplex 7010 comes with a 3th generation intel processor.
