I've had a Nvida Gtx 1050 ti for a while now and I've never got it to "work" When I install it the fan spins and makes noise but isn't recognized by device manager or the bios help please I just want my gpu to work.

Solution
here are some similar threads. Let me know if any of these sols works for you.
i would suggest you to chek following first
1. card Properly inserted.
2. Bios setting.
Doubt : when you say device manager does not find the GPU. you are getting output from integrated graphics.
what i have seen if gpu is inserted and selected you won't get display fro integrated graphics.

Specs: CPU: Intel Core i5-4460, Motherboard MSI Z97 Pc Mate, EVGA 500 Watt Power Supply, 1TB Western Digital Blue Hard drive, 8GB Ballistix Sports Ram Stick (I have 2 sticks but only one works) And obviously you know the GPU and yes it was installed into the right PCI slot.
