Depends on your priorities and programs used.
For just pure gaming you still cant beat the performance of Intel.
For gaming and streaming game play the AMD.
If just mainly gaming and some editing and rendering where taking some extra time to render is no big deal then I would still take the i7.
The best all around would be the extra cores of AMD.
