is my i7 4770k bottlenecking 1080ti

hi i just asus strix 1080ti oc with 1440p 144hz monitor. my cpu is i7 4770k @3.5ghz and whwn i play batefield i have fps drops. bad... what gives? i thought this is good config to play 2560@1440p resolition but my fps goes down to 30... ive set my monitor to 144hz in settings and also on game. all feedback is welcomed

im playing at ultra settings , operations or CQ... the game goes fairly smooth but fps goes down bad on some spots...

im having 40-60 FPS...

You mean Battlefield 1? The game does love cores.

i just bought i7 7700k, maximus ix formula mobk and 16gb g.skill tridentZ rgb ram. if this dont make the game run on 150fps on ultra, im a gun collector and i own magnum 44 ready to use..

If you are doing a new build like this I suggest a clean install of the OS, drivers, programs.

i belive only option is to reinstall everything. im just way to tired of trying to see whats the problem. i do belive that reinstalling everything would help, but new components are always good. when something new comes up ,ill sell this and go to something new.i collect cars and thsts what i do all the time. buy new, drive it untill i feel it, then sell it so i get good money for it and buy something new i enjoy. sadly i am kidney transplant patient so gaming atm is something i do so i dont go nuts. thank you all for replies and best of luck
