My son had a pair of $355 Sennheisers and when he had to send them out for repair because he's 6'-4" and every time he stood up he ripped them off his head. While it was out for repair, he got a hold of a G930 wireless set and when the Senn's came back, they kinda just sat there. I used the G930s and thot they were great but when my other son stole (he says borrowed) I got the G933's, I think they're great. I don't like ireless KB's, I don't like wireless mice, but I love wireless headsets.
My only beef w/ the 933s is the stoopid LEDs ... I wish manufacturer's would just forget about putting LEDs in everything ... the entire PC buying world isn't 13 years old. Took me 10 minutes just to figure out how to turn them off and keep them off.
The 1st day and a half they were kinds "heavy" on my head, not from weight but from the 'spring" in the way the clamped on my skull. They loosened up and I forgot about them being there the 2nd or 3rd day. A bons for many will be their connectivity and they connect to anything, PS4, X-Box, even ya phone. I hang them up when not in use on my center speaker (wall mounted) and one dandy little feature is that you can store the USB dongle thingie inside the left ear. The MSRP is $199 but I picked up my set for $104.
I have used them for up to 12 hours and now that they 2 weeks old I find myself getting up and walking around the house, making lunch / dinner whatever and I forget to take them off till I realize i can't hear any noise in the kitchen
As for our positional sound issue ... a user on pcpartpicker wrote ...
"Never knew that 7.1 was possible on a headset, however, Logitech figured it out beautifully. I hear things on this that I've never heard before on an Astro Gaming headset, which gives me situational awareness in fps games like no other. "
