I attempted to migrate the contents of my hard drive, including my OS, to my new SSD (of the same size), but it won't boot

Following the steps of this guide: http://www.todo-backup.com/backup-resource/data-transfer/migrate-windows-10-to-ssd.htm , I spent the last two hours waiting for the contents of my drive to be cloned. As you can see:
http://i.imgur.com/QEZEdrR.png , it worked. However, when I unplug the original hard drive, and boot up with only the SSD plugged in, I get this error:

Your clone operation went wrong.
Start from the beginning...

Take the SSD out and have only the original drive in it.
Does it boot?

If so, redo it.
These steps, in exact order:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the original boot partitions, here:

In trying to do this, the Samsung Data Migration somehow concluded that my completely formatted, unpartitioned and overall empty 1TB SSD is 30 GB too small to receive 805.9 GB from the source disk.

EDIT: I just decided to delete some programs to meet the space requirement, migrating now.

Screenshot from Disk Management would help to understand the situation.
But - most likely you just need to fix bootloader for cloned system to be bootable.
Command to use is bcdboot.

bcdboot x:\windows /s y:

(x: - windows partition, y: - bootloader partition)

Note. If you're using UEFI boot, bootloader partition has to be of type EFI system;
if you're using legacy boot, bootloader partition has to be of type primary and active.
