Hello all,
First time PC builder. Recently completed my build which consists of:
i7 7700k
Maximus ix code
Evga 1080 ti ftw
Samsung 960 evo m2 500GB
Corsair HX1000
Cooler master haf 932 advanced
G skill trident Z 2x8GB 4000mhz
Put it together and everything seems to work (able to install and run windows)
I do have these two issues: the pump does not seem to activate leading to CPU temp >80C and when plugging the pump or radiator fans into CPU_FAN header, the motherboard does not recognize the presence of the fan and will error out.
I bought a second cooler and tried again with the same error. Note the radiator fans will turn on but the pump refuses to. Any advice on how to fix this? Seems like the corsair link USB isn't getting power or something but I've plugged it into various pump or CPU or case fan headers all with the same results.
