How to get AMD's “GPUOpen” or "Boltzmann Initiative" to convert “CUDA” for AMD's “MSI Radeon R9 290X LIGHTNING” to enable GPU rendering capabilities in “Soldiworks Visualize 2017”?
As you know, "CUDA" is only available for "NVidia" graphic cards but it seems “GPUOpen” can somehow give “CUDA” capabilities to "AMD" graphic cards. So what should I do to have "CUDA" on my "AMD" graphic card? How can I download or install “GPUOpen”? What is the procedure?

Solution
As said before, either use another application to do your work, or change to a NVidia GPU to take advantage of CUDA with your current application.

Those are your only options.

Good luck.

It's in German, I don't speak or read German so I have no idea what is being discussed.

No it is OK. They are saying what you said too. They say “OpenCL” is better and like that. But regarding my problem they confirm what you said already: it is impossible and have to use other rendering programs which support AMD.... I have to forget Solidworks Visualize 2017 altogether…
