pc vga to led hdmi, no signal problem

I have toshiba lapton i3 with window 7. i want to use screen to my new LED chenghong ruba. with the use of VGA to HDMI cable but there is no signal on LED . Plz help me. Shahid Nawab

Cable didn't work because it needed a converter, it needs to convert an analog to digital signal. There is an issue though, it may create a slight lag from what I remember when I read up on this a few years ago. And even if it doesn't you may or may not run into other issues. I have a HDMI to RCA converter and while it works it scales a bit weird and requires some work around to get it working, it's not pretty but I can make it work...eventually.
