New system restarts sporadically

This one's been giving me headaches for about two weeks now. It wasn't doing this at first; the build's new but this behavior only started recently and I've run through everything I can think of and the common suggestions in other, similar topics.

The parts:
2x Corsair Vengeance 8gb DDR4 3200
ASUS Maximus IX Hero
Intel Core i7 7700k 4.20ghz
GeForce 1080 TI SC2

Running on Windows 7 x64.

Event logs are very unhelpful:
6008 The previous shutdown was unexpected
41 Kernal-Power The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly
1101 Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0

These three always accompany one of the restarts. At first there was a fourth, shcp, which I found out was a somewhat-common DaemonTools issue. Getting rid of both the program and the service did nothing so I decided to do a fresh install to rule out software issues. Still happening so I figure it's hardware.

check disc and memory test come back clean but I still tried both RAM sticks on their own and the issue's still there. Either they're both bad (pretty unlikely) or it's not that easy. Next I saw that overheating could do it and the 1080 TI -was- feeling hot so I turned the fan speed way up on the CPU fan (it's a Noctua NH-D15 so it kept the processor nice and frosty), case fans, and the GPU fan. It stayed on for over 12 hours so I was feeling really good about this one but then it happened again.

Other than mobo failure, which I'm not even sure how to test for, I can't think of what else could possibly be going on with this thing. This problem didn't start after any particular installation and all the parts seemed to be working just fine for about two weeks.

The PSU is an EVGA Supernova Nex 750G. That's one thing I haven't tested yet. The restarts are never in the course of doing anything; while it's idling I'd notice that it had restarted. I've been trying out solutions and then letting it idle. It's not made it 24 hours without one of these since it started.
