So I was doing some research on putting together all the components for a new build, and I came across a few people who said make sure that your stock cooler will fit in your case and won't block you from installing memory or side panels. It kinda got me worried and I wasnt sure how to check for this. I looked up my case specs and it says cpu cooler compatibility is 160mm, I am going with the stock cooler that comes with Ryzen 5 1500X and my mobo is the ASRock A320M-HDV.

So how exactly do I make sure that I won't run into any blocking issues?

Solution
The 160mm speck is height. Some aftermarket coolers are pretty tall. The STOCK cooler for a Ryzen won't have any problems in any direction. It is really an aftermarket cooler concern.
