Best card for Athlon 860k

Hello Guys, my R7 265 broke. I got no display now and I am looking at 2 cards, GTX 1050 and 1050 ti. Im just wondering what to get and if the fps gain from 1050 ti is worth the additional 30$ (in my country) than GTX 1050. Is the gain just a couple of fps to the point getting GTX 1050 the logical choice? Should I also consider RX 460 2GB as alternative ? Btw I game at 1366x768p but I usually upscale to 1080p

My system is an Athlon 860k , Asus A68HM K , 8GB ram

a gtx 1050 ti is about max the cpu can handle

the 460 is not worth considering if you have the 1050/1050 ti available to you


at your native resolution a 1050 would be good, but you upscale so a 1050 ti is not a bad deal

Thank you. For some reasons I bought a GTX 1060 3gb.

the combination of your low resolution + weak cpu means it was wasted money over a gtx 1050 ti

at least when you upgrade your setup you can take the 1060 and swap it in to get its true performance
