If I buy a laptop (ik a desktop is much better, but I can't afford it in terms of space/travel) with a i7-7700HQ (max frequency is 3.8GHz), 1050ti, 16gb of RAM, 1 TB HDD and a 256 Go SSD (that can be replaced with one of my 2 year old 500 gb SSD). (It's Aspire VX-15 if you wondered) Would the laptop run arma 3 smoothly at very high or at Ultra? I usually play in roleplay.co.uk (also KoTH) which is a pretty populated server with sometime 120 persons online, fortunately the server is much more optimized than most of the others high populated servers.
I used to have a pretty shit CPU which its frequency was of 2.8 GHz and it had a 960m 2 GB (it was a lenovo) and could run arma 3 at high between 30-20 fps, when the server had lot of people, so I think this could be great.
Also if you want, you can suggest me a laptop that can meet my demands better than the Aspire one ( also, whatever laptop is bought, I will purchase also a cooling pad to avoid heating problems. My budget is around 1000€, but I don't mind spending an extra 300€ if really needed.
If you are curious, I live in France.
Take care!
