My server stopped working out of the blue!

I had a small minecraft creative whitelist server for me and my friends to play on. The server is running for quite a few days, but then we get an improvement to our internet. We use the same ASUS router, but we get a new Arris modem. This happening breaks my server, no big deal, I got a new IP. I just update all my portforwarding and... it doesn't work. I try deleting the server (except for my save and plugins) and remake it... No luck. I try connecting to my Arris modem and disable my firewall. No luck. I disable all the firewalls known to mankind, no luck. I try portforwarding on my Arris modem ontop of my Asus router, says I can't. I try portforwarding exclusively on my Arris modem, says invalid IP for the second time. I have spent the past hour and a half trying to fix this, just to fail time and time again. My last attempt is posting on this forum. Please someone help.

when you port forward the router port to the server;
1. you set in the DHCP the mac address to set Ip as static for the box ?
2. you sure your pointing to the correct IP of the box
3. verified that you have the services running on your system?

Then I suggest this web site instead, it actually provide some results, if it says timed out, then your port forwarding is not pointing to the right IP or the services on your server are not configured to run at that port, ie : your port is open but there is nothing responding on your end.

example of good result :
Success: I can see your service on 1.2.3.4 on port (49733) Your ISP is not blocking port 49733

example of failed port forwarding or service not working...
