Zotac gtx 970 crashing with buzzing noise

So my gpu is crashing with buzzing noise and a black screen .
On inspection one of the fans is dead :(

Plz suggest something

GPU is almost one year old now .

Randomly crashes after unknown periods with or without gaming .

Zotac support is last option since I forgot to register my gpu ( why would I my XFX 9600 worked perfectly for 10 years )

HELP PLZ

Yeah I read where a lot of people have reported early fan failures on their Zotac video cards. Apparently they love using cheap fans. That's why I prefer going with EVGA. Top notch customer service. Good luck!

It always helps tremendously if you give the *exact* model of Zotac GTX 970. You may have an option to buy an aftermarket cooler for that card or simply another fan replacement like this if it looks like the screw mounting holes will line up.

However I will say this: Zotac is terribly notorious for having poor customer support. And any modification while under warranty automatically voids it. So if you are under warranty, I'd advise to work with them. Finally, I always register my products after purchase.

Yes, 99 out of 100 times you won't need it, but eventually you will come across that one time where you will. I had to RMA an EVGA GTX 970 when the display outputs quit working. It's just so easy to do and can take away a lot of headaches down the road. I can see Zotac asking you "well why did you wait so long to register your product?"

So can I register my product now , also I am from India and so I don't think zotac will send anything here . I think I will have to go to zotac local service center ....... I have heard bad things about it , like they break parts and return a 940 instead of a 970 and ask you to be happy that they gave you a new card ......

Ty , I will try registering if I can find my invoice ......

Btw the model no. Is a normal gtx 970 4gb gddr5 , there is a video of YouTube complaining of the same issue .
