So i live In Greece where prices are skyrocketed and my old 7850 is dead so i need a new gpu. Which one should i get? my options are 1050 for 135 bucks the msi dual fan one and the 1050ti for 180 bucks same model i cant get any other gpu cause my psu is an average one and i dont have the budget to get a psu now. Which one should i get? i dont care about max settings or 1440p i just want playable experience on 1080p and a noticeable difference from the 7850 i had.
My PC i5 4690
8 ram 2x4
msi b85m g43
coolermaster b500 ver2

Solution
the 460 will offer virtually the same experience the 7850 gave you give or take 5%.
I would not consider this an upgrade more a lateral move.
Well nobody has a crystal ball, but you will get more life out of it at 720p than 1080p in games. Even right now the 4GB 1050Ti (recommended over 2GB*) won't hit 60FPS in several AAA titles at 1080p (I do not see any reviews benching at 720p anymore).

*Only recommended if you think you might upgrade to 1080p in those 2-3 years. If not, the 2GB variant will be fine. I don't see 720p being a 2GB VRAM issue anytime soon. You can scroll down to the bottom of this review of an MSI 4GB 1050ti and see how it fairs at 1080p in today's popular games.
