I encountered a problem with my motherboard supporting my Vengence LPX 3200 RAM. Im running a Ryzen 5 1400 processor with a base clock of 3.2 ghz and the gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 mobo. My problems started happening when I set an XMP profile to overclock my memory to 3200 mhz. I restart my computer after editing the bios and bam, my computer attempts to boot 6 times before its succesful. After visitng a few website, I found that my CXM650 psu has a saftey feature that caused this. What can I do to make my memory run at 3200 mhz on 1 succesful boot attempt?
Right now I got it working at 2933 mhz.

3200 cas 16? It's not going to run at full speed. All the B-die chips are 3200/14.

Glad to help. :p

To be fair there's not much difference. It's still possible that future BIOS updates will allow it to run at full speed as well. You do have the latest BIOS for that board correct? i think the last big one from AMD that addressed memory compatibility was last month but I'm not 100% sure.

That was supposed to just be a regular smiley :) and not a :p Not sure how I messed that up.

Anyway just keep the BIOS up to date. AMD has released, I think 2 big Ryzen updates so far that have both mostly been to improve memory compatibility. I don't know how much room they have left for improvement but it's possible.
