basically as the title says.

So I could be doing anything. and it happens extremely random and inconsistent. Sometimes It can crash once a week, once every 2 days, or 2 times a day.
The whole screen freezes and a sound loop on the audio (if i was playing anything with audio based) and i would have to hard restart my pc. THIS GIVES NO BSOD OR ANY EVENT VIEWER LOGS.

I've tried underclocking, I ran my cpu setup for 7+ hours on prime95, ran memtest86 on xmp for 8 1/2 hours no errors

right now i took out my sound card and going to use my setup without a sound card, to see if thats the problem. (ill just be using onboard)

Im also on windows 10 pro build 1703.

does anyone have any idea on how to fix this or what the problem might be? been juggling with this since i got this since i got this hardware

EDIT: This has also happened when i had a GTX 1070. So im ruling out my 1080ti as an issue

here's my rig

i7-6800k 4.1 Ghz 1.307v
Corsair H115i
ASUS X99 A-II
32GB DDR4 3000 EVGA SSC
EVGA GTX 1080TI Black
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
WD BLUE 1TB, WD BLACK 2TB
EVGA GQ 750W
Sound Blaster Z

Stinks... So a few basic questions... Are you OC'd and is it stable? Has this happened since you built the system or did it happen later on? Are all of your temps good in the system? I'm assuming the CPU is with that big old cooler on it, but how is air flow?
