Upgrading to new graphics card (drivers?)

So I'm upgrading to a new graphics card, but I don't know the exact process of uninstalling the graphics drivers. Do I even need to uninstall the graphics drivers? I'm going from a gtx 780 to a gtx 980 ti.

yes you will need to uninstall. there is an app for that, called DDU - display driver uninstaller.

for download. it is pretty straightforward.
DDU, shutdown. swap cards, boot and install new drivers from nvidia (I would download these first)

When going from one Nvidia card to another Nvidia card, use of DDU is unnecessary.
Just reinstall latest geforce drivers using clean install option and that's it.

I'm not sure, if geforce experience allows clean install option.
Just download latest drivers and install manually.
