So I'm upgrading to a new graphics card, but I don't know the exact process of uninstalling the graphics drivers. Do I even need to uninstall the graphics drivers? I'm going from a gtx 780 to a gtx 980 ti.
When going from one Nvidia card to another Nvidia card, use of DDU is unnecessary.
Just reinstall latest geforce drivers using clean install option and that's it.
yes you will need to uninstall. there is an app for that, called DDU - display driver uninstaller. http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
for download. it is pretty straightforward.
DDU, shutdown. swap cards, boot and install new drivers from nvidia (I would download these first)

So I don't need to uninstall any drivers? Just plug the new card in, launch geforce experience, and do an automatic update/install?
