So, hi. I ordered a Samsung 250GB SSD. I'm planning on making it my main drive, (dah). Easy thing is. i am not planning on keeping any files. So clean install of windows. So basically i plug the ssd in port 0 in my motherboard and put my current os hdd to port 1. How do i transfer my windows key to the ssd? Do i do it like follows? so plug the drives in, go to windows restore. select ssd to restore to. and then it will automatically take the windows license key to the ssd windows? haaaaalp pls, thanks

Solution
No do a clean install and enter the same username/email and it will log you in normally,if you haven't connected your account with an email then call the automated service and they will make the changes.

Also don't leave your current os hdd on port 1,unless you are sure that bios can't boot to it,otherwise when/if you take it out you won't boot into your ssd anymore.
