Hi, i just bought this board and because it comes stock with an old bios from march, i need to update it to overclock my cpu and RAM correctly, i used a usb 2.0 8gb stick to put the new bios files from the MSI site, i can boot to mflash and my usb stick is correctly recognized, but when i select the file a message appears saying ''The BIOS is not MSI Bios Update will ignore ! ! !"
¿What can i do to update it? I already searched the error message on google but found absolutely nothing.

Solution
I'm not sure about that MB but some have special routine for fixing (semi)bricked BIOS and use only one or 2 USB ports for that. The idea behind it is to use USB prepared for BIOS and that special USB port. Your MB manual may have that.

Yes! Pretty sure! I just unzipped the bios file i got from the msi site and copied the folder to a just fat32 formatted pendrive, and as i said, it actually recognizes the bios correctly but when i click it it shows me the error message, my mobo is B350M VDH-PRO and im downloading the bios files from here https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350M-PRO-VDH.html

Yeh i already tried that... same result, I THINK it has something to do with the usb drive im using, since is the only one i have and i haven't tried with others it leads me to believe its the issue.
Is there any other way to do it NOT using mflash??
