Specs:

i5 - 4460 cpu
ASUS H81M-D mobo
2x4gb ram
Cooler Master Elite RC102 500W PSU
MSI GT 730 gpu

I'm planning on buying a GTX 970 or a 1050.

Which part should I upgrade? buy first? That would be beneficial for me in the long term.

Ohh I see. Noted.

If I got the 970, can my mobo and psu support it? Or do I have to change?

I can't find that PSU. If it is one of those case plus PSU combos. Then it is likely a piece of junk and won't handle the GTX 970.

Get an EVGA, Corsair or Seasonic 80+ Bronze 500w PSU. For a decent budget option. If I knew your country and total budget for a PSU and GPU. I may be able to make a specific recommendation.

You can also look at the PSU tier list. Then choose a series which is Tier One, Two or Three for a decent quality PSU.

Yes, it is a case + psu combos. For the PSU, would an FSP Hexa 600W do??

Is the PSU the only thing I need to change for the 970 or is the mobo needed as well?
