Computer powers on but CPU doesn't start

Before I start, I'd jus like to mention that this build was assembled back in early Feb and has been running pretty peachy up until now.

So my problem is-
When I press the power button, the computer powers on and all fans except the CPU fan starts spinning so my system doesn't boot. I've noticed the fans spin at a much higher rate than what they normally used to be at, it's kinda noisy now. The EZ Debug LED for CPU lights up constant, so I guess the CPU is the only problem?
The weird thing is that my PC was running normally as usual before I turned it off, then came back later after less than an hour or so and when I powered it on, this happened. I haven't even touched the case so I don't think it's got to with the connectors being loose, but hey just to be sure I reconnected the power connectors and also reset the bios (using jumper method as well as removing the CMOS chip), I've also tried powering on after removing the GPU and changing RAM slot, but still, same story.
I'd really appreciate some help with this weird problem.

Specs-
CPU: Intel i3 6100
GPU: AMD RX 470
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 2400MHz
Mobo: MSI H110m Pro VD-Plus (mATX)
PSU: Antec VP500PC

Solution

Then plug one of your case fans into the cpu fan header if you don't have another fan to use. I just want to see if the system boots, so power it up until you see the windows logo then shut it down. Yes the processor will heat up quickly without a fan but it wont burn up in a few seconds, the cpu will shut itself down before it heats up enough to cause damage.

If the fan plugged into the cpu_fan header does not work the motherboard will likely not allow the system to boot. So try plugging a different fan that you know works into the cpu_fan header then power on the system and see if it boots, if it does boot your cpu fan has likely died and needs to be replaced.

So I jus power on the PC without having a cpu fan? Wouldn't that just burn out the processor? Or do I just have to keep it powered for ~5 seconds?

Also, would there be any reason for a fan to suddenly stop working like this?
Edit: Uh no I don't have a spare fan to use...

Your computer will not start without a working fan. ball bearing fans usually last 5 years of constant use.

IT F**KING WORKED!
So what I did was connect CPU Fan to SYS_FAN port and a random case fan to CPU_fan port, and to my wonder, both the fans and the processor started up normally lol, I'm still clueless how this worked but hey I ain't complaining!

Thats weird, not sure why the fan would work in one port and not the other. Keep an eye on your cpu temps because your case fans and cpu fan might be on a separate fan profile, so since you have your cpu fan plugged into a sys fan header it may not ramp up to a high enough rpm when the cpu heats up,

I would try your cpu fan in the cpu fan header again, maybe there was something wrong with the connection before. If it still doesn't work you should look into having it replaced, ideally you want your cpu fan to work in the cpu fan header.

I connected the cpu fan back to its original header and it works, this is how I'm using it now.. And I doubt the problem was bad connection since I reconnected it a couple times before making this thread.
I'll just get a better fan in the next few days anyways
