Trouble with motherboard?

Recently I retire my MSI A78M-E35 and install an MSI 970 Gaming. Since then I'm having a series of set backs. Sometimes its freeze and have to restart, but most of all is an error message that state; "Failed to load Hardware Monitor Driver". This prevents me to use the DVD player (Asus) and install the MB drivers and my games. Any help? Pease/

it sounds like you didn't installed a clean version of windows and just reused the old one

you need to install a new copy of windows, it needs drivers for the new motherboard and not the old ones installed

Was the motherboard the only component changed? Sounds like you need to do a clean installation of windows.

I do a PC reset, wasn't that enough? Also I have a lot of trouble activating windows after the reset so I have my reservations on another install. My copy of windows is genuine by the way.

Hi, I would
1. enter bios
2. disable quick boot
3. go to peripherals make sure plug & play are on.
4. set device boot preference & make sure all drives are seen by bios.
5. Save & reboot.
