Turned on computer this morning, gave me IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD. Became stuck on 40% for 10 minutes, so I held down powerbutton to turn it off. Now, my computer will not turn on. When I press the power button, some lights will turn on, then turn off. This process will keep repeating itself until I unplug power cord or flip switch. Windows 10.

Solution
If they didnt replace the stick, why would you purchase their brand again, go for better brands like Corsair, G.skill, Elixir, there are many more.... And yeah, its not that uncommon..
Like i had very bad experience with GIGABYTE, DeepCool and so i refrain from using their products in the future... If you have a bad experience on the customer service side, you should avoid that brand. The service support was just so bad that i dont even mention anyone buying GIGABYTE boards and also even tend not to comment on gigabyte cards or boards. Deepcool is also another example, although i didnt expect better service support from DeepCool.
Always remember this advice, either buy OK products with great customer support or buy premium quality...

Question from Marquis1 : "Help with Instructions"

if you need to reset the bios, the instructions will be in your manual.

I honestly cannot find a set of instructions clear enough that I am willing to follow. I don't want to screwup anything, and some websites (manual website) are difficult to navigate on mobile. The hardcopy says nothing about resetting bios.

Gigabyte B250M-DS3H btw.

Well I reset it, and it seems like it runs for a little longer than ot used to, but it is still turning off every once in a while, and the monitor does not register it as being on, so it stays asleep.

When I first turned it on yesterday, it bluescreened. (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL). Looking back on it, this is probably where I screwed up because it was stuck on 40% on the restart process of the bluescreen for a good 10 minutes when I decided to shut it down manually (holding power button). After this, every time I tried to turn it on, The fans and mobo light would work for a second, then turn off, and repeat until i flipped the power switch. After resetting CMOS, the fans/light worked for a lot longer, but still flickered/turned off every few seconds. I have not done anything since then.

Gonna try to give specs, but I am not at home, and it has been a few months since I built it:
Cpu: Pentium G4560
Gpu: Radeon RX 470
Mobo: Gigabyte B250M DS3H
Ram: Patriot Signature Line 8GB (two 4 GB sticks)
I have a 244 GB SSD and a TB HDD that I can't figure out how to hook up.
Cannot remember PSU at all.
OS: Windows 10

I can provide more info if you need it.

We'll need the psu details.

Its a problem with your RAM or RAM slots... I had the gigabyte b150m motherboard and it had the same issues, turned out to be damaged RAM slots. I can 100% guarantee its associated with your RAM or the RAM slot, check your RAM on a different system or try booting using one ram stick...

@sohom
If I try to boot it with a single RAM stick, will it have any long-lasting effects? Will I be able to then shut it down and put second stick in and run as usual? Or will I be stuck with 1 stick/need to get new sticks? I don't know much about this kind of stuff.

No, there wont be no long lasting effect. The reason i am suggesting you to try with one ram stick is to see if the RAM is faulty or not. If you are not that good with hardwares, i would suggest you to take it to a professional or the store you bought it from, and have it checked out by them.
You have to check each ram individually, then check each slots individually to determine if its the RAM itself or the RAM slots that is faulty. If the Ram slots are problematic, then you might have to send your motherboard for warranty or purchase a new one, the same goes for the RAM.

Update: I decided to put both sticks back in for the night, and realized that they were not fully pushed in on one side. (Most likely as I was replacing them after single-stick tests, in hindsight). I put them in, turned PC on, and it worked... for about 15 minutes. Now it is back to the same issue it had originally, turning off in 1 second repeatedly. Because it reverted itself, I don't think it was a problem with the pushing in. However, this also means that my single stick RAM tests were surely done wrong. I will do those again tomorrow.

Okay... one RAM stick works on both slots. The other one works on neither slot. Clearly one of them is screwed up somehow. What do I do? I have no other sticks. Is it okay to run the computer off of one stick? I bought the sticks a month ago.

Return them as a set.

Yes you can run your pc with one ram stick until you get the replacement for the other ram stick. Or you can ask the seller to replace both the ram sticks.

My problem is that I got the same model ram sticks a few months back. These ones were also faulty (made my computer bluescreen all the time). So I sent them back for RMA, but the company did not provide replacements, and as far as I know kept the sticks too. These sticks are from the same company (bought separately), and I don't want to RMA again. Is the stick 100% faulty, or could it be some wierd setting with the computer?
