I have been rocking my Logitech G15 for almost 10 years, its working flawlessly. No broken keys, display works fine and all key prints are still 100% intact which is quite impressive considering it has been used for atleast 5 hours on daily basis.
Anyway i am looking to shift it to my office and looking for a new one for my gaming pc at home.
Please suggest some great options while considering the following requirements that i have:

* It shouldn't be wider then my current keyboard as i don't have much free space on my desk. A few inches long is fine though.

* A led display like my current keyboard is highly preferred. It does indeed comes handy sometime.

* My favorite brand for keyboard/mouse is Logitech but i am not picky but it MUST NOT BE Razer.

* At least 6 programmable keys, more are better with easy to use app (that's why i love logitech, their gaming software is fantastic)

* Budget is quite flexible, basically under $200 is fine.

And that's about it, thanks for reading.

Well Logitech has moved the LCD functions to a phone app for android and I assume iPhone. It shows stats such as cpu/gpu usage and temp. It also shows ram usage. It also does some other stuff. I really don't use it much. But if that's important to you, you can get a Logitech g610 in either cherry brown or red.

I use a Logitech g13 for gaming along with a Logitech g600. I don't know if the Logitech gaming software requires you have a compatible "keyboard". If not I suppose you could get any keyboard you want and just use the app.

Sorry for late reply, i was out of town.
Ok i have been looking recently for most keyboard brands and out of logitech most keyboard manufacturers doesn't put an lcd display on their keyboardss.
I dunno why but i find it extremely useful for various things like checking cpu/memory/gpu usage in-game without having to turn it on monitor screen and being easily able to swap between various profiles with a keyboard button rather then to have to minimize my game and change settings.
Also i don't like those rgb type keyboards, i find it distracting during games. Reason i had to turn off that blinking lights on my recently bought Zotac 1080 Ti AMP Extreme.
