Can't Find Hard Drive in BIOS or Change SATA Mode to IED? Please Help, First Time Builder!

I recently completed my first ever build. Everything went smoothly and BIOS booted up immediately. I have a 2tb internal HDD already installed and a 120 gb SSD on the way. Being the impatient person that I am I decided to install a non activated version of Windows 10 without my key. However, when I went to install it said it could not find any drivers. When I clicked load drivers nothing showed up either. I went to BIOS an saw that it didn't detect my hard drive. I tried moving the SATA cable to a different port (Not sure if its important but I only found SATA express ports) but it still didn't detect it. I went online and saw that you should switch the SATA mode to IED, I went to do that but it only showed two modes, AHCI (enabled by default) and Intel RST Premium. I am a first time builder and to be honest BIOS doesn't make much sense to me. It would be really great if I could fix this. The mother board I using is a Gigabyte Aorus z270x Gaming 7 and the hard drive is a Seagate Barricuda 2tb 7200 rpm.

Basics first.
1. Hook Sata cable to HDD & mother board Sata slot 0 or 1
2. Hook power cable up Hdd from power supply.
3. On Sata you will see what looks like three connections 1 is power 1 is Data & 1 is not a connector it is a Hdd priority jumper just smaller than the old jumper & you do not need to do anything with it.
4. Start computer enter bios
5. Goto BIOS Features
6. Find Windows 8/10 & enable.
7. Find CSM Support Should be enabled by default.
8.Find Storage Boot Option Control set it to UEFI only.
9. Try install Windows 10 64byte

Motherboard has
3 x SATA Express connectors
6 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors

If you, only found SATA express ports, I suggest reading the manual.
Refer to "1-10 Internal Connectors," for the installation notices for the PCIEX4, M.2, and SATA connectors.

There is no IDE mode with the Gigabyte Aorus z270x Gaming 7.

So the hard drive SATA goes into a non-express slot? From the manual it looks like the SATA express is the same slots as the regular ones. I've scoured the manual and it looks like I'm plugging it into SATA 0 but its still not saying anything in BIOS. Iv'e changed the wire but nothing seems to work :( Also if there is no IED is it even compatible? Which mode should I have it on?

Wow you just helped me realize something, it appears nothing was wrong with anything except me XD. I had no idea the HDD even needed power so I didn't even bother checking. Also thanks for the help with BIOS it is really confusing to me. Thanks a TON.
