I am looking to build my first PC, for mainly streaming and video editing, but I have next to no experience when it comes to shopping for the right fit. Gaming is more of an afterthought since I will primarily be streaming with gaming systems through a capture card, but it would be nice to be able to play some nicer games like Skyrim on PC, if possible while staying within my budget.

I have found a few builds meeting this criteria on pcpartpicker.com but sadly most was a little out of my budget. I'm looking to spend between $1,000 and $1,200. Streaming and editing is definitely the priority, and I'd like to be able to do so with HD quality, but am not certain if I can do so at this price level.

Any builds, helpful links, or advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't have much of an idea what I am doing here haha, just an amateur streamer looking to level up his equipment (currently just stream through my ps4).

Before you go full blown streamer setup, you may want to try a cheaper PC first. If you don't/don't usually play on PC and stream on there, it may not be right for you. I'm not trying to rain on your parade or anything, and if you're sure this is what you want to spend that amount of cash on I'm not one to argue, but I suggest possibly going with a cheaper PC at the start. I know that when I built my first PC I was determined to be this great youtuber, but somehow life gets in the way of things, and it just didn't work out. Either way, I'm not going to provide you with a build, as I'm sure there are many people on here who could build you a computer much better than I can. Whatever you decide to do, just remember that not all things always work out, but if you go for it, don't give up like I did, and pursue whatever it is that makes you happy.

Sorry should have clarified. I am already a part of a successful twitch streaming group. Our rate of growth has been steadily increasing lately so the PC build is to take our established stream to the next level. It's much more a necessity than it is just buying a PC on a whim. A cheap PC wouldn't provide us with much better quality than we already get streaming through my ps4, so it would essentially be pointless to just buy a cheap one. In other words the stream is already a major priority and will remain one.

Here is the build excluding gpu :

I would suggest a 2k capable AMD Vega releasing next month and would ask you to stream in 2k 75hz free sync monitor.
