I am using an x99 system currently with first slot of each channel running 2133 Mhz memory.

as new 2133 Mhz currently hard to be found. Is it possible to add 4 more module that runs at 2666Mhz at the second slot?

Will it cause stability issue with my system, I will used it for high graphic processing workload that need to process 40GB of raw image each time..

Solution
Well...
First off, mixing RAM is never a good idea as it is not always guranteed to work due to inconsistencies in timings, hence why they are sold in kits.
Second, if it works at all, it will work at the rated speed of the lower unit(2133mhz in this case).

But then again, people do mix RAM sticks at times due to whatever reason and it also does work out fine at times. Its more like taking a chance.
