Need help with deciding some upgrades to my CPU.

Hey guys, so I have a ASUS A68HM-PLUS motherboard and I am soon looking to upgrade. The thing is I'm new to computers and I'm not sure if my motherboard is compatible with a Intel i7 processor. An answer will be greatly appreciated!

The benefit of a CPU upgrade will depend on which CPU you have now. Generally to make a meaningful upgrade you will have to replace your motherboard, CPU and RAM. Your motherboard is not compatible with an i7 and is going to limit your options.
