Hello Guys
i have a problem with my motherboard Asrock AB350 pro4

Why is my internal hard drive always undetected by windows if there is another external hard drive connected to my computer?
I mean if I boot when an external hard drive is connected then my internal hard drive is not detected but if I boot when my external hard drive is not connected then my internal hard drive will be detected by windows.
So if I want to use both hard drives, when booting I have to disconnect my external hard drive and reconnect it after my internal hard drive is detected.

Why did it happen? Is there something wrong with my BIOS settings? Or any other problems?

By the way, I am booting using SSD so I have no problem with booting.
my computer specs are
Please help me
Ryzen 7 1700
2x4Gb DDR4
Nvidia 1050
500GB Harddisk 7200RPM
120GB SSD
Bios Version P1.30

If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful :)

Thats very strange... do one thing turn on the pc with external hard disk connected, go to bios and then go to boot menu... Check to see whether both the drives are showing or not... If so, then something has gone wrong in windows and a format would solve your problem...

If that doesnt fix things, go to bios and load optimized defaults and see if it fixes things.
Reset the CMOS.

Other things you can try are change the SATA cables, check to see if the psu cable is properly seated in the HDD.

Had that once, for me it was because both drives were linked to the same drive letter for some reason (probably because I plugged them in seperately, dunno).

Try to change the drive letter of the internal drive while the external one is disconnected, then connect the external drive again and see whether they are both being detected now.

I think I have no problem with the hard drive letter, because if I want to use both harddisk, when booting I simply remove my external hard drive then connect it back after my internal harddisk is detected.
Then i can use both harddisk

But this way makes quite a problem and I do not have time for it :(

That's a very strange behaviour indeed. I'd still check the drive letters, just in case (better safe than sorry).

What you could also try is disabling boot support from the USB ports in the BIOS, perhaps the "collision" is happening at the drive check during boot?
Of course everything Sohom said is worth trying too, just didn't want to repeat it ;)

Thank you for the help!
I've reset all the settings in my BIOS and it seems like I have only a little problem with kabel management on my computer haha
