I'm new to this kind of stuff, so sorry for sounding dumb. I want to get a gtx 1070, and I was looking at the photos on amazon and where you plug in the power, and saw that the square and (kind of) circular spots don't match up with my power cable on my psu. It has an 8 pin slot, and i was gonna connect a 6 pin with a 2 pin, do the shapes of the slots matter? And if so, are there like adapters I can get?
