Keyboard works in bios but no in windows

Keyboard works in bios but not in windows

No idea what's causing this issue. I manage to press F2 and get in bios I can get around bios with my keyboard but when it comes to putting my password in Windows. Nothing happens. Mouse works just fine. Tried plugging in another keyboard didn't work.

i am going to assume you have either an intel 6th or 7th gen cpu or an AMD ryzen CPU. if this is the case then the reason why it isn't working is those CPU's do not have any support for windows 7

Tried another USB port? If you didnt, and you do, make sure its an USB 2.0.
Also enable in BIOS any Legacy support setting you can find for USB ports.
