Which is better Gtx 1050ti or r9 280x (3gb) ?

Hi guys. I am going to purchase a new GPU and I have selected a 1050ti and a r9 280x (3gb). I have watched lots of videos and I have done lots of benchmarks but still I am confused. For example checkout this video.

In the beginning of this video all the specs and bars and results are in favor of r9 280x but in the last part of the video when fps are shown of different games most of the greater fps are of 1050ti. What should I do? Please help me and dont worry about my psu. Just recommend me which is best for gaming. Love you guys! Thanks in advance.

Going by the hierarchy chart, the R9 280x should have a slight performance edge. Still, the two cards are only one tier apart, so, overall, it might be hard to distinguish much of a performance difference between the two. The slightly greater memory of the 1050Ti, and more modern architecture, might be things to give that one the edge.

Between those two cards, if I were making the purchase, I'd probably lean toward the 1050Ti (and I've typically favored AMD cards instead of Nvidia cards for the past several years) unless the R9 280X was notably cheaper.
