as decribed by the title my GPU is severely overheating with fans full blast

the current temperatue on my gpu is 151deg C

is there a way I can reduce the temperature?

Solution
Yes, as SkyNetRising stated- 151°C is hard to believe. Meanwhile, buy a can of compressed air, unplug everything, take it outside and blast the card clean first, then the rest of your case.

Also, are you sure the fans are running at full speed? Are you using a program like Afterburner or PrecisionX (both free) to not only monitor fan speed, but to control it?
