I had my 3570k at 4.2 for about a year and a half now, and never hit temps above 65C even at full load for hours, usually around 60C is where it sits and idles around 30-35C. I decided to OC today to 4.4 without messing with voltages and will run a prime95 overnight. Ran the CPU for about an hour at 100% load and the max temp I hit was 73C, and an average of 65C under full load.
The reason for OCing my CPU more was because I got a GTX 1070 SC edition and wanted a bit more juice from my CPU.
So my question is; are these decent temps?
