I am thinking of getting an R7 CPU but now want to know what is a good motherboard and what is some good ram to go with it. I'd like to clock in some fast ram in a motherboard that supports that now. I was wondering if there are any recommendations for a mobo and some compatible fast (3200) ram. Thank you.

RAM: Best all-around based on current reviews and feedback is the G. Skill Flare-X at 3200.

Mobo: ASRock Taichi is one of if not the highest rated/reviewed board at the moment. You need to do your research, read reviews on tech sites and customer reviews on places like Newegg. "Jimmy", generally, has no clue what he's saying on either question.

ASUS's most popular and feature-filled board is the Crosshair Hero VI. At rough $250+, it's pricey for essentially a few more USB connections than the Taichi and fewer SATA ports. I have had numerous ASUS boards in the past up through AM3+ and I chose the Taichi this time and could not be more happy with it.

Fact is, lots of RAM and several competent motherboards will work just fine...
